EU set to unveil new code of conduct for ex-commissioners

For a long time Alter-EU has campaigned for stricter regulations for commissioners and ex-commissioners. Last week commissioner Maroš Šefcovic, responsible for inter-institutional affairs, has confirmed that the Commission is pressing ahead with a revised code of conduct for ex-commissioners. It remains to be seen to what extent the proposed changes to the code of conduct will answer to the concerns of Alter-EU.
