NGOs worried about implementation of the common transparency register
ALTER-EU and a broad coalition of NGOs have shared their concerns about the implementation of the new transparency register of all three institutuions with Commissioner Jourova - and discussed them with her cabinet. Reporting requirements differ a lot depending on what kind of organisation is registering and lobbying expenses are now less transparent than before. Civil society will have to pt pressure on the Commission for quick changes.

Public interest groups demand consultation on weak new rules for EU advisory groups
A coalition of civil society groups working on lobbying transparency and ethics regulations have called on European Commission Vice President, Frans Timmermans, to wait until the European Parliament and the public have had a chance to comment before introducing new rules on advisory groups, formally known as Expert Groups.
